On PhpStorm 2016.2 EAP, the popup dialog to select a Shell path doesnt see or allow me to select C:WindowsSystem32bash.exe despite the file being there (and Im able to run it from command line given the full path). Now click on the green '+' at the top left, enter 'Vagrant' as name and choose 'SFTP' as type. In the Import 'filename' File dialog, specify the data conversion settings for every file. Well, here's how: Enter the search box at the top left, type 'Deployment' and choose the entry named 'Deployment' from the resulting list. Navigate to the files that contain delimiter-separated values, select them, and click Open. You can then use 127.0.0.1 to access both CLI and 'web'. I am personally preferring running both in a local Ubuntu installation (just for free in the windows store). When you are using Windows, you can just install PHP to use it for CLI. Having to open PHPStorm on the command line, fuzzy fonts and icons. In the Database tool window ( View Tool Windows Database), right-click a schema or a table and select Import/Export Import Data from File (s). What you need is a PHP interpreter and optionally a webserver. So far this seems to be the best option but it still doesn't feel right to me. The last thing I tried is install PHPStorm inside WSL2 and run the GUI with x410. I tried the synchronize files with network share option in PHPStorm, this works great when I change a file and the file automatically get uploaded to the share but when files changes on the server I have to manually download them to the local files which is not really an improvement for my workflow. I often develop packages and I don't like having to wait on indexing the vendor folder all the time. This works but the indexing is really slow when working with composer and the vendor folder. Lightning speed development on Windows 10 with WSL 2, Docker, Terminal and Jetbrains IntelliJ/P圜harm/PHPStorm. Install PHPStorm natively on Windows 10 and point it to the project files on the \\wsl$ share. The only thing that bothers me is PHPStorm. I have WSL2 running with docker and it works great. I have always developed on Mac and Linux before but now I have to work on Windows 10.
